Ever since his release from the military last year in June, BTS member Jungkook has been terrorized by a series of attempted break-ins and stalking incidents. Recently, as per reports, a Brazilian woman was arrested for attempting to break into his home in January.
Jungkook’s home faces another break in attempt
As per Allkpop, there was another attempted break-in at Jungkook’s residence in Seoul. Yonhap News Agency reported that the Brazilian fan, who is in her 30s, was arrested for the second time for trying to break into the singer’s home. The Yongsan Police Station in Seoul arrested the woman for breaking the Stalking Punishment Act.It was shared in the report that the woman visited Jungkook’s home on January 4 around 2:50 PM. Jungkook’s home is located in Yongsan-gu. The woman was seen writing notes for the idol, along with hanging pictures on the railing, tossing mail around, and disturbing the area around the residence.
Second time arrested for attempted trespassing
The woman had attempted to enter Jungkook’s residence earlier last month as well, and had been arrested for the same. She had attempted to break into his home on December 13 and December 28 previously. Due to the frequency of the attempted break-ins, Jungkook’s management team has requested for an official restraining order to be filed against the Brazilian national, citing that the idol’s safety is at hand.Jungkook has been targeted in a similar way on multiple occasions. On the day of his return from his mandatory military enlistment, a Chinese foreign national had attempted to enter his residential complex late in the night and was later arrested after authorities were called to the scene. Although the woman was arrested at the time, the charges were dropped against her as the court ruled that there was little risk in her attempting to trespass the idol’s home again. The Chinese national had already left for her home country at the time of the ruling.
