Civil society outfits slam Yunus government’s inaction

DHAKA: Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) and Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST) have expressed deep concern over the recent wave of vandalism and violence across the country, including the attack on the historic residence of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at 32 Dhanmondi, Dhaka. They criticised the Muhammad Yunus-led interim govt for its failure to prevent such incidents.
Meanwhile, the govt on Saturday launched a nationwide security operationOperation Devil Hunt‘, following a violent attack on students and civilians in Gazipur on Friday night.
