Congress leader Theenmar Mallanna accuses Allu Arjun of insulting police in ‘Pushpa 2,’ files a new complaint against the actor |

On the one, where ‘Pushap 2’ is keeping the cash registering ringing at the box office at both national and global levels, and on the other hand, the movie’s lead star Allu Arjun is embroiled in legal proceedings. He is already facing the heat in the case of a woman’s death in the stampede incident and now a fresh complaint has been filed against the actor alleging he disrespected police in ‘Pushpa 2.’
Reports suggest that Congress leader Theenmar Mallanna has filed a complaint against Allu Arjun, the director of the movie Sukumar, and producers for allegedly insulting police in the movie. His allegations are based on a scene in ‘Pushpa 2’ where Allu Arjun urinates in a swimming pool while a police officer is in it.
Thenmar called the scene “disrespectful” and expressed that this has degraded the dignity of law enforcement officers. The political leader has strict action against the makers and the actor. He urged not to take the ‘offensive portrayal’ of the police as a serious matter.
As aforementioned, Allu Arjun is already facing legal issues a woman died during a stampede at the ‘Pushpa 2’ premiere. It was an unfortunate incident that happened when the crowd got out of control. The craze for the movie and the actor led to a stampede in which a woman lost her life and her son was brutally injured. The matter escalated to the point where Allu Arjun was arrested on December 13, 2024. He was sent to 14-day judicial custody but later was granted interim bail for 4 weeks on a personal bond of Rs 50,000.
Amid all this, on Sunday, protestors landed outside Allu Arjun’s Hyderabad house to demand justice. They vandalized the property and created a ruckus.
