KATRA (REASI): Jammu & Kashmir LG, Manoj Sinha, on Monday said cutting-edge technology will enable real-time monitoring and crowd management in the safety and security of devotees, and ensure hassle-free pilgrimage.He said this while inaugurating “CCTV Surveillance System with Integrated Command & Control Centre” — a network of 700 CCTVs, with features like gesture recognition, facial recognition, and PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) at the Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine here on Monday.“Over 700 cameras have been deployed across the shrine area, including 170 new high-definition IP cameras and integration of more than 500 existing cameras, covering all critical and vulnerable locations including entry and exit points, gathering areas, and the pilgrimage track,” the LG said.
