As ‘Dhurandhar’ approaches the impressive milestone of Rs 900 crore in global earnings, it finds itself at the center of a stormy debate, labeled by some as a ‘propaganda movie.’ Actor Naveen Kaushik, in his role as Donga, took to social media to fire back at YouTuber Dhruv Rathee, arguing that Rathee is merely riding the film’s coattails for clicks.

‘Dhurandhar’ is currently enjoying its historic run at the box office. The movie is set to cross the Rs 900 crore mark globally. While the film has earned massive praise from all quarters, a section of people went on to call it a ‘propaganda movie’. Recently, YouTuber Dhruv Rathee shared a video where he tried to showcase how the film is a propaganda film. And now, Naveen Kaushik, who played the role of Donga in the movie, has reacted to the video.

In an interview with SCREEN, Naveen Kaushik talked about Dhruv Rathee’s video and accused him of cashing in on the espionage thriller’s popularity. The actor said, “He is an opinionated person. I am associated with the film; I don’t agree with him, obviously.”Naveen added, “He got some views because of us; congratulations.”

Earlier, Devoleena Bhattacharjee had lashed out at the YouTuber through a social media post. She wrote on X, “I so try to avoid & ignore your sh**ty videos & tweets. Dunno why X got it on my feedback. Anyways. Dhurandhar ke baarein mein sochna bandh kar (Stop thinking about Dhurandhar).”
