Ayesha Khan, who features in Kapil Sharma’s ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon 2’ which released in cinemas today, and was recently seen in the ‘Dhurandhar’ song ‘Shararat’, has opened up about a time when someone in the industry suggested she should change her nose and teeth if she wanted more work.The actress, who was also seen in Sunny Deol’s ‘Jaat’ earlier this year, said she has always been secure about her appearance and refuses to let such comments affect her.
Ayesha Khan shares hurtful nose comment moment
In an interview with Galatta India, Ayesha said the remarks never came from directors, but from people who were not even involved in the main decision-making. She said, “I never had a director tell me this. It was always a coordinator, or some random person, who was telling me this. One person told me, ‘You need to change your nose’ and I was like, ‘What is that comment even?’ Firstly, I love my nose and I feel I have a beautiful nose, and secondly, who are you to tell me that I need to change my nose.”Ayesha added that such remarks often come from people who have nothing meaningful to do. She expressed, “These are the kind of people who have nothing better to do with their lives. What else are they going to do?”
Ayesha recalls director’s remark on teeth
She then shared another moment that stayed with her. This one came during the casting for a horror film, where she was told her teeth were not suitable for other genres. She said,“I remember that I had gone for a casting session for a film and the director had come for it. This was a very famous director. I was very excited for the meeting and it was supposed to be a horror film. They asked me to audition then and there and I did it. He was very happy with it.”But soon after praising her performance, they added something unexpected about her looks. She revealed, “Then they told me that since this is a horror film, it’s fine; otherwise, you would have to get your teeth changed. And I was there thinking, ‘Did he just say that?’ I was so happy, smiling before that.”

Recently, Ayesha appeared with Krystle D’Souza in the dance track ‘Shararat’ from ‘Dhurandhar’. She shared a joyful note on social media thanking director Aditya Dhar.
