Mukesh Chhabra reacts to people calling ‘Dhurandhar’ a propaganda film
In an interview with Free Press Journal, Mukesh Chhabra shared, “I just love working; I love cinema. I don’t work with so many opinions.” The casting director stated that when he likes a movie, he has to create the world (casting), and he would do it. Chhabra expressed that he will be doing all kinds of movies, be it a film like ‘Chillar Party’ or something like ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’. Mukesh Chhabra further shared that he just loves casting actors and creating a world, adding that he views “cinemas as cinema” and nothing else. The casting director went on to say that he always follows his instinct.He said, “Whoever is saying that (it is a propaganda film), many others are answering them. So, that will keep on happening.”He said that his concerns are the actors, the film, and the director he is working with. Mukesh Chhabra said, “I don’t want to think about anything else.”

According to the Sacnilk report, the film has earned over Rs 239 crore at the box office until now in India. It has been steadily scoring big at the box office.The film was released in theaters on December 5, 2025. The makers have also announced the second part of the movie. It will be out in theaters on March 19, 2025. It will clash with Yash’s ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups’ at the box office.
