Saumya Tandon is currently grabbing headlines for her amazing performance in ‘Dhurandhar.’ Portraying the wife of Rehman Dakait, played by Akshaye Khanna, she has earned praise for bringing depth to her role. Recently, in an interview, she spoke about her on-set experience with Ranveer Singh and the real reason behind skipping the ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’ film.
On working with Ranveer Singh
Though most of her scenes were with Akshaye, Saumya also got the chance to interact with Ranveer on set. She recalled how committed he was to his craft, noting his intense focus throughout the shoot. Talking to Mid-day, she said, “I genuinely feel this is his best performance ever.” Saumya revealed that Singh was also very involved and exhausted with the kind of work that he had to do. He was not as jumpy or as energetic as someone would see him otherwise.
Fond memories of ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’
Sharing her warm wishes for the ‘Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain’ team, she spoke fondly of her association with them and said, “I love the whole team. I have had some beautiful years with them. I’m so close to the producers and hope it’s another success.”
