Doctor Found Dead: Mumbai doctor found dead in her cabin at railway hospital | Mumbai News

MUMBAI: A 44-year-old doctor, attached to the ENT department at the Jagjivanram railway hospital near Mumbai Central, was found dead in her hospital cabin.A police team sent her body to JJ Hospital for postmortem and an accidental death case was registered.The deceased, Dr Anuja Kulkarni, had several surgeries scheduled at the hospital on Wednesday. When she did not come for the surgery, her colleagues tried to contact her through mobile phone but did not get any response. This is when a junior doctor went to Kulkarni’s cabin in the hospital and knocked but didn’t get any response. When the junior doctor saw from the glass panel, it was found that Kulkarni was lying on the floor near a chair.Soon, the staff and senior officials were informed about it and doctors examined Kulkarni. She was declared dead. The Nagpada police also arrived at the spot.
