Drone crashes into IAF tower at Jammu airport | Jammu News

JAMMU: An Army personnel was seriously injured after an unmanned aerial vehicle crashed after colliding with an Indian Air Force tower located within the high-security technical area of Jammu airport on Thursday. No official statement has been released regarding the incident yet.
However, official sources said the UAV, a Searcher Mark-2 of the Army, crashed around 2.45pm during routine flying. The sophisticated Israel-made drone is used by Army in surveillance and reconnaissance operations along LoC.
Naik Surinder Pal, a Defence Service Corps personnel, got injured in the accident and was admitted to hospital. A probe has been launched to ascertain the cause of the incident.
