New York City’s iconic Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade saw EJAE, Audrey Nuna and REI AMI, the voices behind HUNTR/X, bringing the world of ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ to life with an electrifying performance of their runaway hit ‘Golden’.The singers who lend their voices to the fictional K-pop girl group, made their daytime television debut with their performance at the parade. While the girls took to the stage, they were joined by a host of dancers, and towering balloon floats of the film’s characters Derpy Tiger and Suissie.
HUNTR/X take over Thanksgiving parade
Dressed in sleek all-black outfits, HUNTR/X belted out a soulful yet upbeat performance of their hit Grammy-nominated track ‘Golden’ while fans sang along to the lyrics.
HUNTR/X’s chart topping songs
Earlier this year, HUNTR/X made their first live televised appearance performing ‘Golden’ alongside Bad Bunny in a comedy sketch on Saturday Night Live and went on to deliver their first full-length live performance track on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’.In addition to ‘Golden,’ three more tracks from the animated film’s soundtrack titled ‘How It’s Done’, ‘What It Sounds Like’, and ‘Takedown’ – were also hits among audiences with each of the songs entering the Billboard Hot 100’s top 40 charts. The soundtrack also broke records as the first film soundtrack to top the U.S. albums chart since ‘Encanto’ in 2022.
HUNTR/X set for Grammy glory
The animated film earned five Grammy nominations for the 2026 awards, including Song of the Year, Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, Best Song Written for Visual Media, Best Remixed Recording, and Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media. ‘Golden’ also marks the first time a K-pop act has been nominated in the general field for Song of the Year.
KPop Demon Hunters eyeing Oscar nomination
The film is also in the running to score an Oscar nomination. According to reports, the film has made the cut and is among the 300 films in the running to score an Academy Award nomination in the Best Animated Film category.
