Now, the couple has opened up about how their love story began, sharing insights into the first chapter of their relationship.
Recalling their first date
During a recent conversation with Travel + Leisure India, Tara and Veer looked back on their first date and their debut getaway as a couple. Sharing a glimpse into the early days of their relationship, Veer reflected on what makes their bond special, saying, “I love that we have embraced our affection and love since our first date and have never shied away from expressing how we feel wherever we are.”
Special moments that defined their bond
Talking about the turning points in their relationship, Veer shared that one unforgettable moment took place during the early days of their romance. He said that it was probably their first date night, where he played the piano, and Tara sang until the sun came out. Sutaria, however, believes their bond deepened gradually rather than being defined by a single instance. “Sticking by each other through thick and thin as if we have known each other our whole lives,” she said.
Their first trip together
Reflecting on their first getaway as a couple, Tara shared a sentimental story rooted in her family’s traditions. She recalled how a special belief from her mother made the trip even more meaningful. “Growing up, my mum had always told me the Isle of Capri was where you take your best friend and beloved because there is an old saying that if you embrace this person on the boat while passing through the isle, you will stay this special forever, and that’s exactly what we did,” she said. Adding to Tara’s memory, Veer mentioned that the location was somewhere very special to both of them on the Amalfi Coast. Even before they knew each other, it was the one place they wanted to visit when they had found their special one.
