The makers of ‘Gandhi Talks’ have finally shared a major update about the movie. The silent film starring Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Siddharth Jadhav will release in theatres on January 30, 2026. The date is special because it marks the death anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The film is written and directed by Kishor P Belekar. The music is composed by Academy Award-winning composer AR Rahman.
New teaser creates curiosity
On January 3 the makers released a brand-new teaser from the film. Vijay Sethupathi is seen holding a sickle. Aditi Rao Hydari appears in a yellow suit and is standing quietly in a balcony. Arvind Swami and Siddharth Jadhav also appear in major roles.The words shown with the teaser say, “His silence shook an empire. On his death anniversary this silent film reminds us of Bapu’s thoughts…silently.” The team confirmed that the film will arrive in cinemas on January 30.
