Vijayawada saw a 21.75% occupancy, showing consistent footfall across the day, while Bengaluru’s numbers remained on the lower side at 11.75%, though analysts expect them to grow over the weekend. Tamil market shows steady rise
In Tamil Nadu, ‘Ghaati’ recorded an overall occupancy of 18.78% on its opening day. The morning shows began slowly at 11.18%. The momentum picked up during the afternoon at 19.05%. It peaked during the evening with 24.36%. Although the night shows settled slightly lower at 20.54%, the trend suggests a positive word-of-mouth effect is in play. If the film continues its upward trajectory, especially during the crucial Saturday-Sunday window, it could emerge as a strong performer at the box office in the coming weeks.
