Varun Dhawan and his co-star Pooja Hegde, were seen raising temperatures in Rishikesh, on the sets of their latest film, ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’. The actors, who began shooting for the film early this year, were seen packing on the PDA and getting flirty as they shot a romantic scene by the water. While Pooja was seen in a swimsuit, Varun rocked a button-down shirt and shorts. The newly surfaced video appears to be from the same shoot that the actors shared updates from early this March. In April, Pooja also shared a couple of cute photos from the film sets to wish Varun on his birthday.

The new clips give fans a tease of Varun and Pooja’s crackling on-screen chemistry as their film gears up for its release next year. In the clips, the two are seen getting cosy while filming what appears to be an intimate lip lock only to quickly break out of character and rush to the cameras to review the take.In another clip, Pooja is seen seated on Varun’s lap as they filmed another cute scene, and even stepping into the water for some shots.‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ release date‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ is slated to hit theatres on June 5, 2026. The film is directed by David Dhawan and also stars Mrunal Thakur in a pivotal role. The ensemble cast includes Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Mouni Roy, Chunkey Panday, Rakesh Bedi and Ali Asgar.The film was initially scheduled for an April 10, 2026, release but was later pushed to June. Announcing the new date, the makers wrote, “Drama bhi hona hai, comedy bhi – kyunki jab ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ in cinemas on 5th June 2026.”The project marks another collaboration between Varun and his father, David, after working together in Bollywood comedies like ‘Main Tera Hero’ (2014) and ‘Judwaa 2’ (2017), both box office hits, known for their family-friendly humour.The film will likely clash with the release of the Hollywood film ‘Masters of the Universe’, which brings to screens the famous He-Man series.
