BTS is coming back with a bang this year, and what better way to get the year started than with their fans. The K-Pop band went live ahead of the clock striking midnight as they counted down to the New Year. The idols made sure to spend their New Year’s together, and with ARMY, leaving everyone emotional.
BTS celebrates New Year’s with fans
BTS on December 31 took to a popular social media and video streaming platform in order to commence their New Year’s celebrations with fans. They ensured to log in a few moments before the clock struck 12 and initiated the countdown as fans watched on from their homes, and did the same.Counting down from 10, all seven members – RM, V, Jin, Jimin, Suga, J-Hope and Jung Kook – were present together to celebrate together as the clock struck 12. “Happy New Year” they shouted and cheered while also thanking their fandom, ARMY, for supporting them and wished them well for the coming year. BTS member Jimin later posted a video of the celebrations to his social media account.

Fans and netizens alike could not contain their excitement about the celebrations and took to their accounts to rejoice how BTS celebrated their entry into the new year with them. One fan’s post about their live stream read, “OMG STARTING THE NEW YEAR 2026 WITH BTS MY HOME, MY FAMILY MY BANGTAN THEY CAME SPECIAL LIVE TO START THE NEW JOURNEY AGAIN WITH ARMY GUYS I AM NOT OKEY?!?!, HAPPY BTS YEAR. BTS is all set and ready to make their comeback this year in March. While not a lot of details have been shared with the public, all of the members have been regularly dropping hints for fans. Jungkook, during a live stream he had held last year, shared that the songs are finalised; however, some parts had to be recorded. Not only that, but all of the members have been sharing regular updates from their company’s practice room, citing that they have all been working on preparing for the choreography.
