Janhvi Kapoor reveals she wants three kids, her quirky logic leaves Sidharth Malhotra in splits | Hindi Movie News

Date:

Janhvi Kapoor recently made a rather personal revelation on The Great Indian Kapil Show while promoting her latest film Param Sundari with Sidharth Malhotra. Known for being candid and playful, the actress spoke about wanting to have three children in the future, and her reasoning had both the audience and her co-stars in splits.

“Teen is my lucky number”

When Kapil asked her about the number of kids she’d like to have, Janhvi quickly replied with “three.” She went on to explain her thought process: “Teen, pehle toh, mere liye lucky number hai. Aur dusri baat hai ki ladayi jhagde hamesha do logo ke beech hote hain. Aisi situations main ek ka support zaroori hota hai. Toh maine bohot soch samajh ke yeh planning ki hai.” (Three, firstly because it’s my lucky number. And secondly, fights usually happen between two people. In such situations, it’s important to have someone’s support. That third child—whether a brother or sister—will play from both sides and balance things out. So I’ve planned this carefully.)The quirky reasoning, that the third child would balance fights between the other two siblings, had Sidharth Malhotra, a new dad himself, laughing out loud.

What impresses Janhvi Kapoor?

The conversation then shifted gears as Kapil asked her how one could impress her. Janhvi’s instant response was: “khaane par aadharit hai sir!” (It’s all based on food, sir!) To this, Sidharth teased, “unko bawarchi chahiye!” (She just wants a cook!).Janhvi elaborated that she’s drawn to people who enjoy food as much as she does, especially spicy food. “Agar woh teekha sehen nahin kar paata hai toh main bohot put off ho jaati hoon,” (He should know how to cook, he should love eating. If he can’t handle spicy food, I really get put off!) she said. She even mimicked “mirchi sensitive” men, saying playfully, “Oh this is too spicy, oh I have a sensitive stomach… hain???” (Oh, this is too spicy, oh I have a sensitive stomach… really??).When asked if she enjoys spicy food herself, Janhvi confirmed, “of course! khaane ke saath agar hara mirchi side mein nahin rakha toh woh khaana hi kya hai!” (Of course! If there isn’t green chili on the side, then what’s the point of calling it food?).
