Jennifer Aniston, the acclaimed actress who is renowned for her character, Rachel Green, declared that her upcoming fourth season of ‘The Morning Show’ is not anything like ‘Friends.’ The future of the show is not gushy romance, comedy, rainbows or butterflies; it’s deep, real and focuses on current events.
‘The Morning Show’ is nothing like ‘Friends’
In an interview with People, the 56-year-old teased, “The Morning Show is just a beast to film. It is layered, it’s complicated, it’s emotional, it hits on a lot of topics and current events, so let’s just say, it’s not Friends,” adding that the show takes a lot out of you. Claiming that she’s involved in the show, Jennifer said that she has her hands deep in the show as an executive producer, which is more than just the performance, even though it shares a large part of it. “But I’ve got incredible support, and we have such an incredible team,” the Emmy winner said.
Season 4 is in post-production…
Season 4 of ‘The Morning Show,’ which follows news anchors at a fictional media outlet, UBA, who are trying to figure out their personal and professional lives, has already been filmed and is in post-production. Adding that she is shocked and grateful, Aniston said, “I honestly can’t believe it’s season 4 and we’ve been doing this since 2017. How is that possible?“We’re still in post-production, but I think it’s shaping up. It’s really good, it’s really suspenseful,” she continued. The cast of ‘The Morning Show’ includes Jennifer Aniston as Alex Levy, Reese Witherspoon as Bradley Jackson, Billy Crudup as Cory Ellison, Steve Carell as Mitch Kessler, Jon Hamm as Paul Marks, and now the season 4 will see the additions of Jeremy Irons and Marion Cotillard. ‘The Morning Show’ seasons 1-3 are available to watch on Apple TV+, and the upcoming season will be released on September 17, 2025.
