Shah Rukh Khan’s birthday is just around the corner, and considering that the actor will clock 60 years, fans have been expecting a celebration unlike any other. Amid buzz about the celebrations set to unfold, rumours are rife that Khan will drop the first glimpse of his highly anticipated next film, ‘King’.
King’s CBFC certificate goes viral
The frenzy hit new heights on Wednesday, when an image claiming to be a Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) certificate began doing the rounds online. Titled “Glimpse No. 1 – King” the image that was shared by various fan handles claims that the teaser clip of the film will have a runtime of 1 minute and 13 seconds. This clip reportedly had a ‘UA’ certification.

However, according to reports, no such certification appears in the CBFC’s official database. Several fans also pointed out that the alleged ‘certificate’ does not include key details and gives due credit to production studios. While the image doing the rounds online may be fabricated, fans remain hopeful that the superstar will unveil at least a first-look poster or a clip from the film on the occasion of his birthday. Just last month, while the actor was shooting in Poland, images from the sets leaked online, giving fans a glimpse of his all-new rugged and tattooed look.

From the photos leaked online, SRK will be seen rocking a grey hairdo and beard. The photos also gave fans a glimpse of Suhana Khan in a tank top and cargo pants, ready for action. Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan, who plays the villain in the film, was seen rocking a slick new hairstyle and a salt-and-pepper beard look.

‘King’ will also mark a personal milestone for Khan as it pairs him with his daughter, Suhana, for the first time. The film’s ensemble cast reportedly includes Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Rani Mukerji, Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Raghav Juyal, Abhay Verma, and Arshad Warsi.The film is reportedly slated for a 2026 release.
