After nearly seven weeks of an extraordinary box office journey, ‘Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra’ starring Kalyani Priyadarshan seems to be approaching the end of its theatrical cycle.As reported by the Sacnilk website, on day 47, the film minted Rs 8 lakhs. This marks one of its lowest daily collections since release. The fantasy drama, directed by Dominic Arun, has already become a historic blockbuster, but its current trend signals a gradual winding down in theatres.An all-time blockbuster despite slowdownAccording to the reports, ‘Lokah’ has collected an impressive worldwide total of Rs 301.98 crore. Of this, India net collections stand at Rs 155.72 crore, while the gross domestic figure has reached Rs 182.38 crore. The overseas market collections stand at Rs 119.6 crore. The film’s Malayalam version alone accounted for Rs 121.8 crore net, earning it an “All-Time Blockbuster” status in Kerala.Strong legacy for Kalyani and teamStarring Kalyani Priyadarshan, Naslen K.
