Actress Manju Warrier expressed that justice for the 2017 assault survivor remains incomplete, as the mastermind behind the crime has not been held accountable. While respecting the court’s verdict convicting six accused, she emphasized that true justice requires punishing all involved.

Actor Manju Warrier has finally spoken about the verdict in the 2017 actress sexual assault case. Nearly a week after the court delivered its judgment, Manju shared a strong and emotional note on Instagram. While she said she has full respect for the Honorable Court, she clearly stated that justice for the survivor is still not complete.

Manju says justice for the survivor is still incomplete

In her Instagram note, Manju Warrier wrote, “I have utmost respect for the Honorable Court. But in this case, justice for the survivor is still incomplete.” She added that only those who directly committed the crime have been punished. According to her, the person who planned and enabled the crime has not been held responsible yet.She wrote, “The mind that planned and enabled this heinous act, whoever that is, still walks free, and that is terrifying.” Manju further said that justice will be complete only when everyone involved in the crime is brought to account. Her message went beyond this single case, as she stressed that every woman and every human being deserves to live without fear.“This is not just for one survivor. This is for every girl, every woman, every human being who deserves to walk with courage, heads held high, without fear,” she wrote, ending her note with, “With her. Then, now, and always.”
