Teja Sajja’s much-awaited film ‘Mirai’ arrived in cinemas on September 12, 2025, and the numbers are already painting a promising picture.Reportedly, the film managed to earn an estimated Rs 12 crore on its first day across all languages.

Telugu audience drives the momentum

While Mirai was released in multiple languages, its strongest foothold came from Telugu markets, as reported by the Sacnilk website. The film registered an impressive overall 68.59% occupancy in Telugu on Friday. The numbers showed a steady rise throughout the day, from morning shows clocking 56.20% to a massive 83.81% during the night shows.

Mixed but steady response in other regions

In contrast, the film saw more modest numbers in other markets. Hindi occupancy closed at 10.86%, with night shows giving a slight push at 17%. Tamil saw a total of 19.50%, while Malayalam closed with 16.69%.
