They emphasized their strict policy against inappropriate behaviour and sexual harassment, stating, “At Dharma Productions, we have a zero-tolerance policy against inappropriate behaviour and sexual harassment towards any individual working with us in any capacity, and we treat sexual harassment cases very seriously.” They also clarified Pratik Shah’s role in the project, saying he was a freelancer who worked for a limited time and that “His engagement with us has been completed.” The statement added that during his time with the film, “our internal committee for POSH didn’t receive any complaints against him from any cast or crew on our film Homebound.”
