Last year, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban made headlines after they announced their split. Now, the couple has officially reached the final settlement of their divorce. The report comes three months after the ‘Babygirl’ actress filed for divorce.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban finalize divorce
As per reports from People, the former couple entered the final phase of their divorce as they reached an official settlement. The court documents for the settlement were filed on January 6. According to the reports, both Kidman and Nicole are going to be taking full responsibility for their respective legal fees and other expenses accrued during the legal case. They have also chosen to waive any child and spousal support rights. The settlement comes only 3 months after Nicole Kidman officially filed for divorce in court. The couple had reportedly split sometime around September 2025.

Soon after filing for divorce, both the actress and the country singer had established a legal parenting agreement. The agreement cited that they have to act civil around each other and their children and not say anything against each other.An excerpt from the parenting agreement reads that both Kidman and Keith have to “behave with each other and each child so as to provide a loving, stable, consistent and nurturing relationship with the child even though they are divorced.”According to the agreement, their two daughters, Faith and Sunday, will stay with their mother in her home for 306 days out of the year. Keith Urban will have them for the remainder of 59 days. They will be able to spend every other weekend in their father’s home from 10 AM on Saturday to 6 PM on Sunday.The ‘Aquaman’ actress celebrated New Year’s with her daughters as she took to her social media stories to share a glimpse. On January 2, the photo showed the actress with her daughters, their arms wrapped around one another as they smiled. The photo was posted along with the caption, “Looking forward into 2026 xx.”
