Patna: In his first executive order in public view after becoming the state’s CM for the record 10th time, Nitish Kumar said on Sunday that the newly constructed duplex-type bungalows meant for lawmakers would soon be allotted to the newly elected MLAs.The CM issued the directive after inspecting the duplex-type bungalows located on Daroga Rai Path. The officials accompanying him informed him that each flat carries the number and matching name of the constituency. The CM also went around the premises to personally review the beautification of the campus and take stock of the facilities provided.

“The flats are beautifully constructed. They will be distributed soon among the newly elected MLAs as per the number and name of their assembly constituencies. All modern facilities have been provided, and the beautification, too, has been done well,” the CM said.Later, he inspected the ongoing beautification of the J P Ganga Path. He asked the officials accompanying him to construct railing around the park being developed along the sides of the road. “It is an important road that provides smooth and unencumbered connectivity to Patna,” the CM said.The senior officials accompanying the CM included his principal secretary Deepak Kumar, secretaries Kumar Ravi and Chandrashekhar Singh, Patna divisional commissioner Animesh Parasar, DM Thiyagarajan S M, town commissioner Yashpal Mena and SSP Kartikeya K Sharma.Meanwhile, the CM also condoled the death of three children who drowned in a fishing pond in Dhanoti village under the Ekma police station area of Saran district on Sunday. He also issued orders for the payment of an ex gratia amount of Rs 4 lakh to the next of kin of each of the deceased children.
