Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor’s romantic comedy ‘Param Sundari’ continues to hold its ground at the box office, crossing the coveted Rs 50 crore mark in global collections within its first six days.Param Sundari Movie Review

Day 6 box office collection

According to early estimates from sacnilk.com, the film earned approximately Rs 2.85 crore nett on Wednesday, Day 6 of its theatrical run. With this, the film registered an overall Hindi occupancy of 8.68% on Wednesday, reflecting a mid-week slowdown after a promising start.‘Param Sundari’ opened strong over its debut weekend, collecting Rs 26.75 crore nett. The film witnessed a sharp dip on Monday with Rs 3.25 crore, but bounced back on Tuesday with collections of Rs 4.25 crore before easing again midweek. The film’s India nett total now stands at around Rs 37.10 crore.

Param Sundari worldwide box office collections

Gross earnings in India are now estimated at Rs 41.1 crore, while overseas markets have contributed around Rs 13.9 crore. Together, the worldwide box office tally stands at approximately Rs 55 crore.

Sidharth and Janhvi’s highest-earning films

The milestone also marks Param Sundari as Sidharth Malhotra’s seventh-highest-grossing film to date, surpassing the lifetime business of Thank God, Yodha, and Baar Baar Dekho, and now trailing just behind Hasee Toh Phasee (Rs 37.36 crore). For Janhvi Kapoor, the film ranks among her top three highest earners, after Devara: Part 1 (Rs 62 crore) and her debut Dhadak (Rs 74.19 crore).Directed by Tushar Jalota, Param Sundari is set between Delhi and Kerala, weaving a romance between Param Sachdev (Sidharth Malhotra) and Thekkepattu Sundari Damodaram Pillai (Janhvi Kapoor). The film also features Sanjay Kapoor and Manjot Singh in key roles, with music by Sachin–Jigar adding to its appeal.

Film to face stiff competition from Baadhi 4

However, the film now faces stiff competition at the box office. Its solo run ends on Thursday, ahead of the release of ‘Baaghi 4’ on September 5. The Tiger Shroff–Sanjay Dutt actioner has already raked in Rs 2.67 crore through advance bookings, with overall pre-sales (including blocked seats) standing at Rs 5.07 crore, setting the stage for a head-to-head clash.
