The Gen Z protest in Nepal has left everyone concerned. The visuals and reports of the protest are heartbreaking, and amid this crisis, several Bollywood stars have extended their prayers for Nepal. Through her post, Prajakta shared that it breaks her heart to see the ongoing unrest in Nepal. She extended her support to those affected in the protest and shared that, though she was looking forward to visiting Nepal, the timing doesn’t feel right as of now. “What happened in Nepal yesterday is truly heartbreaking. Any form of celebration at such a time feels inappropriate,” Prajakta mentioned in her note..She continued, “My heart goes out to the families of those who have suffered. I was really looking forward to being there and meeting everyone, but now isn’t the right time.” “Hopefully, I’ll get to see you all very soon,” concluded Prajakta.

Earlier, Manisha Koirala and Rohit Saraf also took to their social media handles and shared their concern. While Manisha called it a ‘black day’ for Nepal, Rohit shared an emotional plea amid the protest.Sharing a picture of a blood-soaked shoe on her feed, Manisha wrote a note in Nepali, which translates to“Today is a black day for Nepal. When bullets respond to the voice of the people, outrage against corruption and demand for justice.”On the other hand, Rohit Saraf shared a note on his social media story that read – “To everyone in Nepal… my thoughts and prayers are with you. No struggle should come at the cost of innocent lives. Violence is never the answer. Hoping for dialogue, compassion, and peace.”

Protests in Nepal broke out after the Government banned 26 social media platforms that failed to comply with their Supreme Court’s directive. Reportedly, the decision was revoked by the government on Monday night, protests took an uglier turn with more violence.
