Priyanka Chopra Cheers for Nick Jonas as He Makes Broadway Return with The Last Five Years |

Priyanka Chopra is beaming with pride as her husband, Nick Jonas, made his Broadway return with the production titled ‘The Last Five Years‘.
The actress, who is currently busy shooting for her film with SS Rajamouli, took to social media to celebrate the show’s premiere, sharing a photo of the stage and writing, “So proud of you @nickjonas.”
Jason Robert Brown’s acclaimed musical officially began its Broadway premiere run at the Hudson Theatre on March 18, with an official opening night set for April 6. The production features Nick alongside Tony Award winner Adrienne Warren in the lead roles.
The first videos from the theatre saw Nick and Adrienne getting a standing ovation from the audience. The co-stars took a bow as the audience rose to their feet and clapped and hooted after the performance.
Ahead of the premiere, PC played head cheerleader and helped spread the word about her husband’s show. In an Instagram story, she invited fans to join her for the premiere and asked, ‘Who is going with me?’
The Last Five Years tells the emotional story of Jamie, an emerging author (played by Jonas), and Cathy, an aspiring actress (played by Warren), as their relationship unfolds over five years. The narrative takes a unique approach, with Jamie’s story progressing chronologically while Cathy’s is told in reverse, beginning at the end of their marriage.
While Jonas is busy with his Broadway commitments, Priyanka is currently filming her upcoming project, SSMB29, which will see her starring opposite Mahesh Babu.
