Priyanka Chopra reflected on her film ‘Fashion’ and her character, Meghna Mathur. She shared that director Madhur Bhandarkar had noted how female-oriented films often cap off actresses’ careers, but she was just beginning, having already completed ‘Krrish’ and ‘Aitraaz’. Priyanka was drawn to ‘Fashion’s’ script and dedicated six months to it, considering it a labor of love. She spent time in Goa to develop Meghna’s character deeply, immersing herself in the role emotionally and physically.
In addition to Kangana Ranaut and Mugdha Godse, ‘Fashion’ features a strong supporting cast including Arjan Bajwa, Samir Soni, and Arbaaz Khan. The film was well-received by both audiences and critics.
On the work front, Priyanka Chopra was in Australia filming her upcoming movie ‘The Bluff’ before coming to India. She was joined by her husband, Nick Jonas, and their daughter, Malti Marie. The film also stars Karl Urban, Ismael Cruz Cordova, Safia Oakley-Green, and Vedanten Naidoo, and is a collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios and AGBO.
Meanwhile, her Bollywood project ‘Jee Le Zaraa’, directed by Farhan Akhtar and starring Chopra, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt, is reportedly still in the works and set to begin soon.
