Today, Priyanka Chopra enjoys the title of an international star, but in her heart, she is the true desi girl. The ‘Citadel’ actress was recently in India to shoot for ‘The Great Indian Kapil Sharma Show Season 4’ ahead of her State’s break, where she got candid about raising her daughter Maltie Marie in the U.S. and keeping her in touch with her Indian roots. “She travels to India often. She accompanied me to Hyderabad, she’s been to Mumbai, she’s been to Delhi and even came with me to Ayodhya. I’ve always tried my best to make sure that she is familiarised with Indian culture and traditions, as much as possible,” she said before adding, “Whenever she puts on her ghagra-choli, she calls herself an ‘Indian princess’. She loves her ghagras and bindis and bangles, which I always take for her.
