Producer Mohan Natrajan passes away due to illness | Tamil Movie News

Veteran Tamil film producer and actor Mohan Natarajan, who is known for his role in Kamal Haasan-starrer ‘Mahanadhi‘, passed away battling age-related issues. The 71 year producer, died at around 10:30 pm on September 3 in Chennai and his body will be kept at his Saligramam home for public homage till 12 pm.
The veteran producer is known to have produced numerous film including Vijay’s ‘Kannukkul Nilavu’, Vikram’s ‘Deiva Thirumagal’, Ajith Kumar’s ‘Aalwar’ and Suriya’s ‘Vel’ among many others.Mohan Natarajan will be cremated in Chennai’s Tiruvottiyur after 3 pm today, September 4.

Mohan Natarajan made his debut as a producer in collaboration with producer Tharangai V. Shanmugam, with ‘Pookalai Parikadheergal’ in 1986 directed by V. Azhagappan and starring Suresh and Nadhiya in the lead. Some of his other production ventures include ‘En Thangachi Padichava’ directed by P Vasu, which completed a 100-day run at the box-office. The film starred Prabhu, Rupini and Chithra in the lead roles. He has also acted as a villain in the film ‘Enga Annan Varattum’ released in 1989 and films like ‘Kottai Vaasal’ and ‘Velai Kidaichiruchu’.
