Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna’s Pushpa 2: The Rule has seen a dip in its box office performance as it entered its fifth week. Despite the slowdown, the film continues to break records and maintain its status as a blockbuster hit.
On Tuesday, the film’s earnings dropped to Rs 2.25 crore, reflecting a gradual decline in collections after an extraordinary run. In its opening week, Pushpa 2 grossed a staggering Rs 725.8 crore, followed by Rs 264.8 crore in its second week. The momentum slowed in the third and fourth weeks, with collections of Rs 129.5 crore and Rs 69.65 crore, respectively.
The fifth week has so far brought in Rs 21.10 crore, with daily collections of Rs 3.75 crore on Friday, Rs 5.5 crore on Saturday, Rs 7.2 crore on Sunday, and Rs 2.5 crore on Monday. The film’s cumulative net box office collection in India now stands at approximately Rs 1,210.95 crore.
Globally, Pushpa 2 has grossed an astounding Rs 1,800 crore in just four weeks, cementing its position as one of the highest-grossing films of all time. The Hindi-dubbed version has achieved a historic milestone, crossing the Rs 800 crore mark—making it the first Hindi release to do so.
Fans are eagerly awaiting the Sankranti festival, as the film’s makers announced a “Reloaded Version” featuring 20 minutes of additional footage. This extended cut will be available in cinemas starting 11th January and is expected to reignite interest and boost collections over the weekend.
