Raghav Chadha has opened up about life after marriage with actor Parineeti Chopra, revealing how she brought balance into his otherwise work-heavy schedule. In a recent conversation, the politician also recalled his first meeting with Parineeti’s parents, Pawan Chopra and Reena Chopra, and spoke about how the actor has taken to Delhi life.
‘Pari made me realise the value of work-life balance’
Reflecting on how marriage has changed him, Raghav admitted that his life earlier had no concept of balance.“Before marriage, there was nothing called as work-life balance in my life. And post marriage, I feel it’s like a blessing to me that Pari has made me realize the value of work-life balance,” he told Curly Tales.
How Parineeti is adapting to Delhi
Asked how the actor, who has always called herself a “Mumbai girl,” is enjoying the capital, Raghav said she has taken a liking to Delhi—especially its food.“Well, I think she loves Delhi. I mean, of course she’s a Mumbai girl… But when she comes to Delhi, she enjoys it a lot. One thing she loves about Delhi is the food. She’s a big foodie. And this is my opinion, not hers. The food that you get in Delhi, you don’t get in Mumbai. The chaat, pakodi… you don’t get that flavour in Mumbai,” he shared.
Raghav recalls first meeting with Parineeti’s parents
Raghav also recounted his first meeting with Parineeti’s parents at their Ambala home—an interaction that was supposed to be brief but turned into a long, warm exchange.“The first meeting was in Ambala… It was a very good and interesting meeting. I was originally supposed to spend only 30–40 minutes. Quick chai. But I think I ended up spending 4 hours in their house. We sat, chatted, ate, had tea, buffet, had lunch. It was a fantastic meeting,” he said.When asked if there were any “internal fights,” he laughed it off, “Not at all. She gave me a lot of love.”The politician also admitted he was more nervous meeting Parineeti’s parents than delivering a speech in Parliament.“For the first time, I was a little more nervous than when I was giving a speech in Parliament,” he said.
Raghav and Parineeti welcome baby boy Neer
Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha recently welcomed their son, Neer, and shared the beautiful meaning behind his name.“Jalasya rupam, premasya svarupam — tatra eva Neer… Our hearts found peace in an eternal drop of life. We named him ‘NEER’ — pure, divine, limitless,” they wrote in a social media post.The couple got engaged on May 13, 2023, at Delhi’s Kapurthala House and tied the knot on September 24, 2023, at The Leela Palace, Udaipur. They announced their pregnancy earlier this year and welcomed their baby boy on October 19.
