Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are parents to a beautiful baby girl Raha Kapoor. She was born in November 2022. As Raha is now growing up and already is quite a star, Ranbir has now opened up on the possibility of having a second baby. Ranbir is proving to be a doting father to his baby girl as he sports clothes with Raha’s name and also has a tattoo dedicated to her on his collarbone. Meanwhile, now, he’s hinted at having more children.
In an interview with Mashable India, he answered the most googled questions about him. One of the question was if he will get a new tattoo soon. He answered, “None yet, hopefully soon. The 8th or something, I don’t know, maybe my children’s names, I don’t know.”
It means that both Ranbir and Alia are open to the idea of a second baby after Raha. Recently, when Alia had appeared on Jay Shetty’s podcast, she revealed that they also have a second name ready if they have another baby and it’s a boy. She said, “This was when Ranbir and I both, like eager parents, were asking on our family group to give both boys and girls names so we’re prepared, so we can zero down on like a girl name and a boy name. So, there were multiple boy names and multiple girl names and, um, we really liked one boy name.”
Alia added, “We said, ‘Okay, this a lovely boy name.’ I’m not going to reveal that now. We said okay, this name is lovely, now any more girl? My mother-in-law, Ranbir’s mom, suggested, ‘What about Raha? It’ll go very well with the boy name as well if you ever have a boy. If you have a boy and a girl, it’ll be a really good combination.’ Then she suggested a girl and girl combination as well. But Ranbir and I instantly loved Raha. So we had two names, boy and girl, ready.”
The actress spoke about it, even at IMDb’s Icons Only segment. When asked about her wishlist and desires, she said, “Hopefully many more movies, not just as an actor but hopefully also as a producer. More babies, lots of travel, and just a healthy, happy, simple, quiet, peaceful, full-of-nature life.”
