As ‘Thamma’ is doing decent box office business, it’s worth taking a look at the actress Rashmika Mandanna’s commitment to her craft. While the film is receiving widespread acclaim, it is her dance number ‘Tum Mere Na Huye’ that has particularly drawn attention. The actress revealed in a recent interview that she shot the song despite sustaining a fractured foot earlier this year.
Doctors advised complete bed rest
In an interview with ANI, Rashmika recounted the challenging period, saying, “The doctors had told me three months of bed rest, but I was up and moving around for Chhaava promotions in like 30 days.”The actress also shared the struggles she faced while shooting. “Today, when I look at my foot, the shape has changed. But I remember being in so much pain, and I had to shoot the song in that pain as well. We had to shoot the song at the same time,” she admitted. Despite her doctors’ strong advice for extended rest, Rashmika was fully committed to performing the song sequence in full perfection. “At the end of the day, what matters most is the love that people give and the smiles on their faces. That is what it’s all about,” she added.
