Rashmika Mandanna voices AI concerns; ‘Thamma’ actress urges fans to stay alert, calls for stricter digital safety |

Actress Rashmika Mandanna has voiced concerns over the increasing misuse of AI to create fake images, particularly targeting women. She urged fans to stay alert and called for stricter digital safety measures and unforgiving punishment for AI abusers. Mandanna emphasized the need for responsibility in using AI to build a dignified society.

The use of AI to create fake images of actresses and stars is increasing in the cinema industry. Such misrepresentations, especially of female stars, are increasingly being spread on social media in an unwanted manner. Previously, stars like Keerthy Suresh and Girija Oak have spoken out against this in the open. Now, ‘Thamma’ actress Rashmika Mandanna has released a statement regarding this on her X (formerly Twitter) page.

Rashmika warns that fabricated online “truth”

Rashmika Mandanna’s post begins with the quote, “When truth can be manufactured, discernment becomes our greatest defense.” Furthermore, Rashmika Mandanna noted that the use of AI to create vulgarity and target women “reveals the decline of some people’s refined secularism.” The internet and social media are no longer a mirror of truth, she said. “It is a canvas where anything can be fabricated. Let us rise above misuse and use AI to build a more dignified and progressive society. Choose responsibility over recklessness,” she said. Along with this, Rashmika Mandanna said that strict action should be taken against those who misuse AI, and “if people cannot act like humans, then strict & unforgiving punishment must be served to them.”

Fans hope for strict action against AI abuser

This is noteworthy: Two years ago, an AI-generated video of Rashmika mispronouncing her name went viral, forcing her to explain herself. Similarly, Keerthy Suresh and Girija Oak have also recently raised the same issue and are speaking out about the dangers faced by women around the world. With the increase in AI use, fans hope that the misuse of artificial intelligence to create false and derogatory images targeting women must be prevented.

Rashmika continues her strong career run

On the movie front, Rashmika Mandanna had five releases: ‘Chhaava,’ ‘Sikandar,’ ‘Kuberaa,’ ‘Thamman,’ and ‘Girl Friend,’ and most of them were well-received among the audiences. She is anticipated to have a strong 2026 as well, and she is part of movies across languages to impress her fans across locations.
