This outing marked their sixth time attending the prestigious show and their first red-carpet moment since November 2023. The Princess of Wales chose a deep green velvet gown with a V-neckline and short sleeves, radiating understated elegance. Prince William complemented her look with a classic black bow tie and a velvet dinner jacket, adding his own refined touch.Welsh soprano Katherine Jenkins opened the night by delivering the national anthem in honour of the royal couple. The singer, a mother of three, also crossed paths with fellow performer and cancer survivor Jessie J during the celebrations inside Royal Albert Hall.Over the past year, Kate kept a notably low profile after sharing that she was undergoing cancer treatment. She completed chemotherapy in September 2024. Returning to the iconic London venue, the Princess expressed her gratitude, saying it was “so nice to be back” following her recovery, as reported by The Sun. Among the first to welcome the couple were James Max and James Ainscough, the President and CEO of the Royal Albert Hall.

When nine-year-old twins Emelie and Olivia Edwards stepped forward to present a bouquet, Kate playfully asked them, “Are you two fans of Paddington?”She went on to reveal that her own children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, would have loved the encounter. “My kiddies will be very sad. We are going to have to keep it a big secret,” she told the girls, sharing a warm laugh.Before moving ahead, the Princess shook hands with Emelie and Olivia and thanked them sincerely for the “beautiful” flowers, rounding off a night that blended royal elegance with heartfelt moments.
