Satara police seize Rs 95 lakh unaccounted cash in SUV, probe on | Kolhapur News

KOLHAPUR: Satara Taluka Police has seized unaccounted cash amounting to approximately Rs. 95 lakh from two individuals who were traveling from Vashi (Navi Mumbai) to Hubli (Karnataka) in a white SUV on Tuesday morning.
Upon receiving credible information, Satara Taluka Police immediately took action. Preliminary investigations have revealed that the cash was handed over to them at the Washi Toll Plaza.
Currently, a thorough investigation is underway to determine the source and purpose of the seized cash. Maintaining law and order and curbing illegal financial activities during elections is our prime focus, said Satara SP Sameer Shaikh.
