He spoke about the love he got and also highlighted the struggles he faced. In his interaction, the ‘Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai’ actor shared an interesting tidbit about his iconic movie ‘Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron.’ He mentioned that back in those days, movies were not made on big budgets, and he was paid for his role in installments of Rs 50 and Rs 100.

“Those days, the budget of a film would be very less. Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron’s budget was about 8 lakhs, so you can imagine how much I must be paid. I used to get cheques with amounts like Rs 50 and Rs 100. I used to get it in installments,” said the actor.Further, as he spoke about the film, he mentioned, “God was on our side for that movie turned out good. The things that we have done. Satish Shah’s manager confirmed the news to PTI that the beloved star is no more. Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit, “Sad and shocked to inform you that our dear friend and a great actor Satish Shah has expired few hours ago due to kidney failure. He was rushed to Hinduja Hospital, where he breathed his last. A great loss to our industry. Om Shanti.”
