Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan delighted fans at the Locarno Film Festival with his candid and humorous reflections on life as a movie star and didn’t hold on to the highs and lows of his illustrious career. Among the many anecdotes he shared, one that particularly stood out was his admiration for Hong Kong action star and director Jackie Chan.
Khan recounted a memorable interaction with Chan, revealing a “promise” that has yet to be fulfilled.”He promised to open a Chinese restaurant with me as partners – and he hasn’t done it!” Khan said, pretending to be outraged, as reported by Deadline.

The actor also touched on some of the more unusual aspects of his career, including a time when he wore a fake jaw, cast from a similar prosthetic made for Hollywood star Brad Pitt. This revelation prompted vocal protest from fans, prompting Khan to tease, “I’ll tell Mr Brad Pitt you said that!”

SRk, who was felicitated at the festival, also marked his presence at a film screening. A video doing the rounds online saw the ‘Jawan’ actor on stage, engaging with a large and enthusiastic crowd. In a heartwarming moment, the audience began singing ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ in unison, and Shah Rukh joined in, much to the delight of everyone present.
At the festival, Shah Rukh also confirmed that his next film will be the action entertainer ‘King’ which will see him share screen space with his daughter Suhana Khan. The film will also star Abhishek Bachchan in the lead.
