After ingesting plastic particles from a beverage provided by an American airline, Shana Wall suffered serious injuries. The 50-year-old actress, who dated Ryan Seacrest in the past, sued the airlines and is requesting an undisclosed amount of money. While Wall was traveling from Queens, New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport to Rome, she was reportedly given the contaminated drink.
Reports suggest that the case, which was filed at the Manhattan Supreme Court on Monday, claims that the former ‘Amazing Race’ contestant had injuries to her throat, esophagus, vocal cords, and digestive system on May 1.Wall was left bedridden after the event because she needed medical attention for inside injuries.
“[American Airlines] had a duty to provide beverages and food that was uncontaminated and fit for consumption,” the model argued in her lawsuit, saying that it “created the dangerous, defective and unsafe condition on the airplane.” From 2003 until 2005, the 49-year-old television host dated the California native.
Wall and her attorneys have not commented on the case, but her social media photos following the event in mid-May depict her sipping wine in Italy.
