Conservative voices are fighting in public, and this time it has turned very personal. Graham Allen has strongly criticized Candace Owens after she made serious claims about Erika Kirk, the widow of Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA. The back and forth played out on podcasts and on X over the past few days, and it quickly grew tense. The issue began when Candace Owens, on a Friday episode of her podcast, questioned Erika Kirk’s past connection with a teenage girl named Jillian. Owens shared alleged text messages and raised doubts about that relationship. Later that day, Graham Allen pushed back online. He questioned why some of Charlie Kirk’s “friends” were not speaking up to defend Erika Kirk.On February 13, Candace Owens replied on X. She told people to keep their “young kids away from” Graham Allen and suggested that anyone defending “stuff like this” must be “perverted.” That response added fuel to an already heated situation. Two days later, on February 15, Allen posted an old photo of himself with Candace Owens and Charlie Kirk. He promised he would answer her claims in detail. He did that on his Monday podcast episode.
Graham Allen says Charlie Kirk “lived in fear of Candace Owens” as podcast clash grows
In his Monday show, Graham Allen made a strong claim about the working relationship between Candace Owens and Charlie Kirk. He said, “Charlie at some point saw what was behind Candace Owens’s eyes, and all he wanted to do was figure out a way to appease her enough to not have her turn against Turning Point because you’re seeing what happens when Candace Owens decides she wants to destroy something, somebody, someone, some movement, whatever it may be. Charlie lived in fear of Candace.”Allen explained that he did not believe Charlie Kirk feared her because he could not debate her. Instead, he said Kirk wanted to keep a united front during election seasons. Allen also claimed that Kirk suffered serious stress and even had ulcers due to anxiety linked to the situation.During the episode, Allen showed a photo from what he said was a 2017 Turning Point USA event at Arizona State University. He claimed Candace Owens was scheduled but did not appear. “At the time, I was told that it was because Candace was sick. This was them running cover for Candace. But since then, I’ve learned that that’s actually not the truth. The truth is, this was just par for the course of Candace Owens to just negate her obligations to Turning Point USA,” Allen said.He also played clips from Owens’ earlier interviews. In one, she said Charlie “lied” to her about money and that it “fractured” her “trust in him.” In another clip from the Hodgetwins’ February 13 podcast, she said, “Charlie got rid of me because I said, ‘Yeah, I know you can’t just mass murder kids.’”Allen questioned the difference in her statements. “So, which one is it? Were you fired, or were you let go? We all know the truth. You were fired. Just like you were let go from PragerU,” he said.He denied Owens’ suggestion that people should keep children away from him. Allen said he has an adoptive family and passed a detailed background check. He added that his record “is cleaner” than Owens’.Candace Owens later posted again on X, saying anyone who accepted “money” to “cover for potential criminality against minors” was someone children should avoid. Earlier on Sunday, Owens also argued online with a producer from The Charlie Kirk Show after accusing Erika Kirk of asking platforms to remove episodes of her late husband’s podcast.
