Sidharth dropped the picture on his Instagram and called it an ‘unforgettable’ moment. “#ThrowbackThursday to the unforgettable 2023 ODI Cricket World Cup Semi-Finals in Mumbai, where India claimed a thrilling win! Had an amazing time cheering alongside football legend @davidbeckham and my cheer partner, @kiaraaliaadvani!” he wrote in a note shared on Instagram.
On Koffee with Karan season 8, Kiara Advani had opened up about meeting Beckham.She recalled that she was at the semi-finals (Cricket World Cup 2023), and happened to sit next to David Beckham. And someone around them was talking about how India is on this lucky streak with the way they are playing.
Kiara Advani revealed that David Beckham said ‘It’s not luck. It’s someone’s hard work.’ The actress also shared about how that statement ‘hit’ her. She also expressed that she deeply resonated with David Beckham’s statement because it’s never just a fluke, or just like a stroke of luck.

Meanwhile, Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra had recently attended the quarter-finals of Wimbledon 2024 in London. “I have to to be honest I was recently introduced to tennis by my husband and this has been the best experience ever! @wimbledon live, centre court , strawberries and cream and a fabulous game – doesn’t get better!” she said in a note shared on Instagram.
