The new documentary ‘One Last Adventure’ pulls back the curtain on ‘Stranger Things’ season 5 production. It shows the massive effort behind the final chapter, including a shocking reveal. The Duffer Brothers started filming the series finale without a finished script, creating real tension on set.
Script real struggles unfold
Matt and Ross Duffer faced huge pressure from the streaming platform and producers to wrap the screenplay for episode 8, titled ‘The Rightside Up.’ Matt admitted in the documentary , “We went into production without having a finished script for the finale. That was scary because we wanted to get it right.” Crew members built sets using concept art and past talks, leading to confusion. Set production assistant Montana Maniscalco captured the mood. “We are shooting episode 8, which isn’t completely written yet. Everyone on set is walking around with red script pages.” The brothers looked nervous as they pushed forward.
