When two of Bollywood’s most beloved tough guys—Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty—get together, you know the stories will be as entertaining as their films. The longtime friends are bringing their real-life bond to The Great Indian Kapil Show, where laughter, nostalgia, and a few cheeky confessions take centre stage.
Promo promises laughter and nostalgia
A recent promo from the show promises a laughter riot as Sanjay Dutt and Suniel Shetty trade jibes and swap old stories. Suniel pokes fun at Sanjay’s unpredictable streak on film sets and recalls an incident in Hyderabad where he accidentally broke down a door at the Taj. Sanjay’s witty comeback to the anecdote had the audience in splits.
When Sanjay forgot politics at home
Suniel also shared another amusing memory—how Sanjay once promised to campaign for a friend, only to realise later that his father, Sunil Dutt, was with Congress while the friend belonged to the opposition. Having completely forgotten the political clash, Sanjay backed out, and Suniel had to step in and campaign instead.
A cheeky response to Sunil Dutt
Suniel recalled how Sunil Dutt once urged him to consider supporting him as well, to which he cheekily thought that if Sanjay himself hadn’t done it, why should he?On the work front, Suniel was last seen in the web series Hunter 2 and will soon appear in Welcome To The Jungle alongside Sanjay Dutt, Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta and Paresh Rawal. Sanjay, meanwhile, is gearing up for Baaghi 4 with Tiger Shroff, Harnaaz Sandhu and Sonam Bajwa, slated for release on September 5.
