Amid ongoing buzz about a possible rift between Govinda and his wife Sunita Ahuja, the latter has finally addressed the divorce rumours and set the record straight. Speaking to Instant Bollywood, Sunita urged fans not to believe any claims unless they come directly from the couple, while also expressing her unwavering confidence in her relationship with the iconic Bollywood star.
The rumours began making headlines when Govinda and Sunita were not seen together at recent public events, prompting fans to speculate about trouble in paradise. However, Sunita’s latest comments suggest there’s no truth to the separation chatter.
‘Only one woman can entertain Govinda’
Responding to a question about her cheerful and lively personality, Sunita said, “I am like this since childhood. I don’t have any flaws in my heart. I told you once in the podcast that people who have flaws in their heart, they laugh a lot. I don’t have any flaws in my heart. I am very calm.”
When asked if her charming personality was what attracted Govinda, she replied with a smile, “Wo to kafi ada pasand aayi thi… jawani mein (He liked that style a lot when I was young). Everyone says that Govinda is an entertainer. Aur Govinda ko sirf ek hi aurat entertain kar sakti hai aur wo hai Sunita Ahuja (And only one woman can entertain Govinda and that is Sunita Ahuja). No one else can do it. I can make him laugh also but I have never made him cry.”
‘Don’t believe anything unless you hear it from us’
Addressing the swirling rumours around their relationship, Sunita added, “Maine pehle bhi bola hai jab tak hamare muh se nahi sunoge, koi bhi news ko react mat karna. Jab tak hum nai muh khole, baadme sab gole hi gole.” (“I’ve said this before, too. Until you hear it from us, don’t react to anything. Until we speak, it’s all just speculation.”)
With this statement, Sunita has made it clear that all is well between her and Govinda, at least until they say otherwise.
