Supreme Court issue contempt notice to 4 DDA officials | India News

NEW DELHI: Supreme Court of Monday issued a contempt notice to four senior DDA officials and sought an explanation for cutting down trees in south Delhi without court’s permission.
Meanwhile, the apex court also said that it has to intervene to give a clear and loud message to authorities if they fail to discharge their duty in protecting forest and environment.
