Veteran actress Zarine Khan’s demise has left the entire Bollywood industry mourning. Her prayer meet was held a few days ago in Mumbai, attended by several celebrities including Jeetendra, Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Rakesh Roshan, and others.Recently, Zarine’s daughter Farah Khan Ali shared an emotional video from the late actress’ prayer meet on Instagram, in which Sussanne Khan is seen breaking down in tears.

Along with the video, Farah penned a moving caption expressing her love for her late mother and revealing how deeply the family has been affected by her passing. In the video, Sussanne Khan, Zayed Khan, and Sanjay Khan are seen crying inconsolably at the prayer meet.
Several family members, including Zarine’s grandchildren, sons, daughters, Hrithik Roshan, and his children Hrehaan and Hridhaan, also delivered emotional speeches in remembrance of the beloved matriarch.Farah wrote, “Zarine Sanjay Khan to the world — but to me and my siblings, simply our mother. She was my world, or so I thought… until I witnessed the overwhelming turnout of people from all walks of life who came forward to pay their last respects to a woman who made each one feel seen and heard — irrespective of class, social status, or faith.”She continued, “To her, all were equal, and all equally important. I am truly blessed to have witnessed this outpouring of love for my mother. I’m also profoundly grateful for having had her in my life for more than half a century because every moment of that time was precious. She shaped me and my siblings in her image — she loved generously and gave without flinching. She had a golden heart, just like the meaning of her beautiful name, Zarine, which means ‘golden’ or ‘to shine.’ And shine she did — the brightest of all — as she left her earthly abode for her heavenly one.”Concluding her post, Farah expressed gratitude to God, writing, “Thank you, God, for my mother. Thank you for all the love she received. Thank you that she lives on in me and my siblings. We will carry her legacy forward.”
Bollywood turns up in solidarity
The prayer meet for Zarine Khan, wife of actor Sanjay Khan, was held on Monday evening in Mumbai. Several visuals from the venue showed Sanjay Khan, and their children — Sussanne Khan, Simone Arora, Farah Khan Ali, and Zayed Khan — arriving together to pay their respects.Hrithik Roshan, Sussanne’s former husband, was also present along with veteran actor Jeetendra. Others who came to offer condolences included Rani Mukerji, Shweta Bachchan, Chunky Panday, Fardeen Khan, Ridhi Dogra, and Zareen Khan.The veteran actress passed away on November 7 at the age of 81, reportedly due to age-related ailments. Zarine and Sanjay Khan had celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary in April this year.
