Tamannaah Bhatia, Rasha Thadani, and producer Pragya Kapoor seem to have formed a close-knit friendship over the past few months, often seen attending each other’s special events. From celebrating Holi at Rasha’s place to ringing in her birthday in March with Tamannaah and Pragya by her side, their bond has only grown stronger. Tamannaah recently opened up about how she navigates friendships within the film industry.
In a candid chat on the podcast Permit Room, she emphasised that she connects with people only when it happens naturally, without any hidden intentions. “In the recent past, I met Rasha (Thadani), who is just starting off her career. We actually bumped into each other at a party and started dancing together. We kept in touch after that,” she stated.
The actress revealed that she only believes in organic relationships. “We both have a significant age gap. But that doesn’t matter because it’s about bonding with people for who they are,” Tamannaah shared.
She also spoke fondly about Pragya Kapoor, praising both her work and her personality. “Even Pragya Kapoor, who is a wonderful producer — I love the films she makes. She’s also a lovely person. I’ve met some really cool people recently, and I love the fact that I don’t form friendships for any kind of benefit. I make friends simply because I enjoy spending time with those people, and they enjoy spending time with me.”
On the work front, Tamannaah is gearing up for the release of her much-awaited Telugu film ‘Odela 2’, directed by Ashok Teja, which is set to hit theatres on April 17.
