Kathryn Hahn may soon be switching up her tune from ‘Witches’ Road’ to ‘Mother Knows Best’ with her possible casting as the Disney villain, Mother Gothel.
Kathryn Hahn in talks to play Mother Gothel
The actress, who made quite the impression with her turn as the witch Agatha Harkness in Marvel’s ‘Agatha All Along’, is reportedly in talks to play Mother Gothel in Walt Disney Pictures’ live-action adaptation of ‘Tangled’, Variety has confirmed. While no deal has been finalised as yet, should Hahn land the role, she would join previously announced leads Teagan Croft as Rapunzel and Milo Manheim as Flynn Rider. The character of Mother Gothel is the lead antagonist in the original 2010 animated film. She plays the role of the witch who kidnaps baby Rapunzel, while secretly using her magical hair to preserve her youth.
